The Retromancers are an energetic, multifaceted, band with influences and music covering classic rock and New Wave (and points in between), covering everyone from Led Zeppelin to Pat Benatar and Talking Heads to The Cars. The band consists of Andrew Barash and Dave Giamalis on guitars, Hannah Kramer on lead vocals, Michael Smith on bass and Bill Pearce on drums. The Retromancers have been playing since 2015.

With an emphasis on playing great upbeat music, The Retromancers features Hannah’s powerful vocals out front.  Bringing the fire and brimstone to bear, our two great guitarists, Andrew and Dave, do some serious shredding. And the thunder and lightning are brought to you by Bill and Michael.

We’re BACK and jeez, it was a long winter! If you’ve followed us, you know The Retromancers closed out 2023 with a gig at The Rendezvous/Jewel Box Theatre in Seattle where we had the opportunity to play at this classic, historical Seattle venue. Since then, we took some time off, did normal work things (yes, some of us still have the nine to five deal going on), travelled a little, one of us even moved, again.

So 2024 marches on and we’ve got a good summer line up scheduled and are excited to get back out there. And we’re starting off at practically our home away from home, The Skylark in West Seattle, and we can’t wait. Next up is Tim’s Tavern and a great outdoor set. Both times, we’ll be joining our buddies, Project33.

Next, we’ll be playing for the first time, The PONO Ranch, an Evening With The Retromancers. We’ll be doing a two-set show and are really looking forward to bringing you a fantastic mix of classic rock, 80’s rock, and New Wave. Please be sure to join us for this special show!!

Next, it’s The Hidden Door in Shoreline, also a brand-new venue for us. And there will be more coming late summer and Fall so definitely stay tuned!!

On Nov. 6th, 2021, The Retromancers had a recording session at Uberbeatz Studio in Lynnwood, Wa. We performed and recorded five songs that have become part of our rotating set list and are audience favorites. No overdubs, just the five of us plus our friend, Rai Lyons on keys and vocals, making some fun music. It was a great day, and we enjoyed the support of each other as well as Gavin Olson, sound engineer from 3moonsaudio.
